about

Music to huff jenkem to.

This debut release by Wooster will please those looking for something fresh and interesting. It contains two tracks of new electronic work, a mixture of experimental and not quite yet played-out genres, blended into an invigorating brew of enjoyable musics.

The album is reportedly best appreciated while huffing Jenkem, a potent street drug from Zambia known to cause hallucinations of dead relatives[1].

The Wireless - A novel mixture of original synthesizer patches and shortwave broadcasts recorded from around the world, set to a lively and changing downtempo beat. Grimey glitchy synths, heavy kit drums, and snippets of recordings from Skype conversations with schizophrenics on disability from IRC. Selected broadcasts from Voice of (north) Korea and a preacher with access to a shortwave transmitter weave their way in and out of the foreground.

End of an Era - This is a more personal and emotional piece. It starts off almost acoustic in nature with piano and strings, then quickly escalates into a frenzied audio confrontation of a glitched out explosion battling a more classical harmony of emotes.
