Dreadlock DSOI017

by Junglord & Dee Double U

about

Dom Wakeland (Dee Double U) and Jordan Saunders (Junglord) when paired together are best known as Dark Monitors. Working together as producers and maintaining a close friendship these two are something to look out for in the future of the Drum & Bass/Jungle scene.

Having met almost two years ago in their grimy first year halls at Leeds Met the two found the best way to fill their spare time was to bond over their common musical interests. Their styles worked well together and the two of them have created everything from dark bass heavy tracks to the more light-hearted Dreadlock, shortly to be released.

It_s no surprise then that DSOI (Dark Side of Innocence Records) are choosing to release their songs on their label. If you were to chuck Dee Double U's ragga vocals, Junglord's catchy reggae guitar and a shit load of amen breaks into a blender Dread is what you'd be left with. Probably the pair's most accessible and eclectic tune it incorporates many different ideas and genres into just over five minutes.
